This is a truly pasture-raised chicken grown right here on our farm in Orlando. Beyond Organic. No hormones. No antibiotics. Just fresh air, sunshine, and a healthy buffet including bugs, seeds, weeds and worms that come with living outside every single day.
The taste is unlike anything you can find in the store. Our birds have a richness and depth of flavor that can only come from being raised the "old school" way.
Our birds belong to the Freedom Ranger breed - a hybrid of American and European heritage chicken breeds. They offer extraordinarily tender and delicious meat that comes from an active life spent entirely on pasture.
The whole chicken is simple to prepare. Just rub with butter, sprinkle with salt and pepper, add some lemon juice and your favorite herbs, and roast in the oven for approx. one hour! (Here's the full recipe). Or just throw it in the crock pot on top of some veggies and after a few hours - voila!
You will wind up with multiple delicious meals, and the leftover parts are ideal for making rich bone broth.

I recently bought 1 chicken and 1# chicken liver. The quality and taste of this product are very good. The chicken tastes excellent and the liver was clean, beautiful and healthy in it's color. No yellow on the liver, which usually cause the liver to taste bitter. Liver in general is a rich in iron, nutrient we all need for our blood.
I cooked the chicken the persian way, per Pasture Brothers recipe ( easy and delicious ). We ate it with pocket bread and tatziki sauce.
I happily recommend this chicken.
I first met Evan at an indoor farmer’s market in Downtown Orlando! He was very informative and down to earth. We recently had one of their chickens and the whole family loved it! You can most definitely taste & see the difference. These guys are the real deal! Eating meat that I know lived a happy & healthy life is important to me and my family. I was also happy to see that they have a nose to tail mentality and offer chicken feet & liver! Can’t wait to see this business grow. Keep up the great work y’all!
